Everyone knows Vistaprint for its business cards. But what many people don’t know is that we print much more than that. We print (almost) everything that can be printed: business cards, posters, mugs, window stickers, flyers, cards, photo gifts, phone cases and much more. And it all takes place in Venlo at our European automated production facility! This is a site of approx. 31,500 m2 where around 500 employees work with nothing but modern, high-tech machines and the latest technology.

 

For over 20 years our company has focused on developing software and manufacturing capabilities to transform traditional markets and make affordable, customisable products available to everyone.

 

In this role you are part of the Global Manufacturing Problem Management Team, you will be the last tier of support for Vistaprint’s numerous Manufacturing Sites (Windsor, Venlo, Deer Park, Bhiwandi, Kisarazu, Reno, etc.). You will become an expert on our internal systems and provide support ranging from print-production to customer care to data analysis.

 

Manufacturing Problem Management works closely with Software Development, Manufacturing, Analytics, Customer Care and Marketing organizations to triage, prioritize, contain, route, resolve, and report on urgent incidents.

 

In short, you will have a major influence on the progress of our production process where we print products for our customers 24/7.

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in an incredibly dynamic environment. You are very motivated and have an enormous drive to solve problems. You are confident, analytical, communicative and very customer friendly. Because we are in a production environment, it is extremely important that you know how to set priorities and scale up quickly. You see that as a challenge.

 

You will also have:

  • A relevant IT HBO or Bachelor’s diploma combined with relevant work experience. 
  • Thorough knowledge of English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL is critical, though can be learned on the job by the ideal candidate. Programming skills in VB, VB.net, C#, .ASP, ASP.NET, VBScript, or JavaScript is a plus.
