** This shift works 5:00 PM - 5:30 Am Sun., Mon., Tuesday (and every other wednesday).
The Production Operator will perform a variety of job duties that help in the printing, processing, and packaging of orders. They are responsible for processing and packing customer orders before they are sent to shipping and receiving to be mailed to the customer.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Understanding of loading and operation of various types of equipment
§ Start up and prep packing equipment as needed during start up of shift.
§ Perform all functions related to the processing, packing, and shipping of the product
§ Stock stations and request materials from shipping and receiving as needed.
§ Clean and check area to ensure broken or damaged equipment is not being used.
§ Move, lift and organize material using manual pallet jacks and other material movement equipment devices as required
§ Capable of performing repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs), flexibility for bending and reaching
§ Perform regular quality checks, working to consistently reduce internal defects and ensuring a quality product is delivered to the proper customer on time
§ Performing any and all related tasks as assigned by Management
§ Able to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)

§ Previous experience in a lean or production manufacturing environment
