As an HRIS Quality Engineer, you will work on HR initiatives from business requirements through implementation for our ERP and other HR systems. You will develop and manage test strategies and test plans, and execute, verify, and document tests via both manual and automated processes. You will coordinate other testing resources, including end users from the business, and will work closely with developers and configuration leads to resolve issues.   Once the capabilities have been deployed, you will be responsible for post go live testing support, encompassing both new functionality and regression testing.



  • Partnering with end users to achieve business signoff
  • Executing manual testing on our products (80%-90% of the time)
  • Participate in the design and documenting of test plans and procedures. Maintaining manual and automated test cases, analyzing test results, and debugging test failures.
  • Capturing, reporting and working with the development and configuration resources to resolve defects in a timely manner
  • Continually identifying and developing manual and automated procedures that aid in the testing effort, and growth the team.
  • Responsibility for implementing and executing automated regression (10%-20% of the time), functional and non-functional tests and maintaining them throughout the product lifecycle
  • Triaging automation runs, sharing results with key stake holders and engage in timely follow through to ensure that testing is leveraged most effectively on every release.
  • Developing best practices for team testing efforts



  • 5 years’ experience, preferably in a fast paced, agile technical environment
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles
  • Knowledge of QE methodologies and automation best practices
  • Experience with large enterprise systems and structured engineering
  • Experience with web services, API testing, and Service Oriented Architectures
  • Demonstrable problem solving skills and strong analytic ability
  • .NET programming ability – C# is preferred, any object-oriented or Java language experience a plus
  • Database programming with SQL – Microsoft SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL is a plus
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PERL a plus
