Human Resources Operations Associate

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations associated with Human Resources (HR) processes, administration and supporting the execution of HR programs for the Waltham and Silver Spring locations. You will also be responsible for providing first level global HR customer service to employees and act as a Specialist for local or centralized HR Operations related questions.


Your role will involve:

  • Supporting in the onboarding process of a new hire, collecting all new hire paperwork
  • Monitoring the accuracy of employee data and paperwork requirements within the onboarding recruitment system
  • Managing the PTO/Break management, tuition approval, processing name change requests and other benefit administrative tasks
  • Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
  • Coordination of onsite HR related events or programs
  • Providing HR project support to the Global HR operations team
  • Managing HR queries through a centralized Request Management System
    • Directing employees to our Knowledge Management System
    • Answering employee queries via phone and email
    • Acting as specialist to answer location-specific questions
    • Appropriately escalating questions to Centers of Expertise (COE) when required Serve as curator for updates to HR Knowledge Base pages
    • Redirecting questions to Employee Relations and other non-HR COEs when required
  • Keeping informed on changes in policies or programs that may affect employees
  • Attend to day-to-day HR Operations activities and transactions
  • Supporting the temporary hiring program, liaising between teams and agencies to gather necessary requirements and place temporary resources
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all areas of responsibility

In return you will bring:

  • 1-2 years of HR administrative experience
  • Experience working in a HR Shared Service delivery model a plus
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be hands-on, detail-oriented, and process-minded and cope well with a high volume of HR transactions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work accurately under time constraints
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have consistently demonstrated a high level of customer service
