Our in-house global agency is offering a 6-month, full- or part time Junior Photography Production Assistant Internship for someone who is currently studying Photography at a degree level.

The Junior Photography Production Assistant Internship will provide you with an opportunity to master the skills needed to develop an exciting and rewarding career. You will collaborate with and learn from successful professionals in the industry like producers & photographers, allowing many opportunities to network and receive significant support and mentoring from colleagues and management.


You will be responsible assisting the producers of the photography department in the office and in some cases in the studio/on set. You will also use your skills to collaborate with other teams like product-marketing and various channel design teams. 


Your role will involve: 

  • Working inside the Global Creative Agency supporting producers and photography/art directors deliver various image assets, from still life to lifestyle photography. 
  • Supporting the pre-production phase by ordering product samples, tracking shipment of samples and props, and help keep track of the inventory of samples and props. 
  • Distributing call sheets, health and safety notices and other paperwork. 
  • Supporting the creative team during shootings with various simple tasks like acting as a courier, arranging transports, help to keep the set clean and tidy. 
  • On location shoots, you may also need to help coordinate extras like arranging catering, or performing crowd control duties. 
  • Support the post production team with archiving, naming & meta-tagging assets, and simple retouching tasks 

 What do you need to be a Junior Production Assistant Intern?

  •  Currently studying at degree level in Photography, Graphic Design or an equivalent field with 0–12 months experience (we cannot consider candidates who have graduated)
  • Pro-active, self-motivated and self-disciplined, flexible and well-organized
  • Have outstanding organizational and administrative skills, most of the time you will be behind a computer or on the phone
  • Ability to communicate in English is a must, fluency is another language a bonus
  • Competent level with Adobe CC Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Bridge)
    and Capture One
  • Competent level with MS Office
  • Must be eligible to work in Spain (hold an EU passport or have a valid working permit)
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be tactful and diplomatic
  • Be punctual
  • Be enthusiastic
  • Be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
  • Have good IT skills
  • Be able to work without supervision
  • Be versatile and willing to learn
  • A portfolio of creative examples is nice to have 

Duration and Dates 

  • This role is to start as soon as possible
  • The duration of the role is for 6 months & we are flexible with regards to working hours. 

What is the selection process?


First rounds generally take place over the phone; while final round / assessment generally take place at the Vistaprint office in Barcelona.
